CJF Ministries has been taking tour groups to the Middle East since 1991 and the safety of our tour participants has always been one of our highest priorities. We go to great lengths to ensure that anyone traveling with a CJFM tour has the safest and most enjoyable experience possible. Fortunately, the Israelis have some of the best security—both on land and in the air—in the world. So it’s not surprising that over the years, we have never experienced a serious, security-related problem on any of our tours. Nonetheless, there are certain risks associated with traveling in this part of the world (just as there are in many other regions of the world), and when you apply to join a “Live the Land” tour, you are voluntarily assuming these risks.
A $50.00 per person pre-departure trip cancellation policy is available from Cjf Ministries and must be paid with the initial $250.00 deposit. This policy applies only when cancellation results from a medical condition, as documented by an attending physician, and must be submitted in writing on the doctor’s letterhead. Payment for this policy is nonrefundable and due at the time of registration. We strongly recommend that each participant take advantage of CJF Ministries’ basic policy to guarantee protection in the event of a medical problem. Anyone who chooses to decline this coverage must indicate it during the registration process. For anyone desiring additional coverage, policies are available commercially from the many companies that cover trip cancellation, baggage delay, medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, accidents, and other contingencies. The largest provider of travel and tour coverage is AIG TravelGuard [www.travelguard.com].
Every tour participant must be in possession of a current passport (be sure to check the expiration date). Vaccinations of any kind are not required by law. No visa is required of US citizens for entry into Israel. A group visa will be obtained for entry into Jordan. Final payments from all participants must be received by CJF Ministries no less than sixty (60) days prior to departure and may be made by check, money orders, or credit cards. If not using PayPal, payment arrangements can be made by calling (800) 926-5397.
CJF Ministries Inc. and its representatives, directors, employees, and agents act only as agents for the suppliers (principals) whose identity is disclosed in the travel documents and vouchers. CJF Ministries assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity in connection with the services of any airplane, motor coach, or any other conveyance used in carrying out these tours-or for the acts or defaults, financial or otherwise, of any company or person engaged in conveying the participant or in carrying out the arrangement of the tour. CJF Ministries shall not be responsible, and does not assume any liability, for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omission on the part of suppliers, or any person or entity rendering any other services included in the tour, which may result in any loss, damage, delay, or cancellation due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, mechanical or construction difficulties, war, quarantine or diseases, social or labor unrest, government restraints, terrorism, weather, or any other cause beyond their control. By embarking upon his/her travel, the participant voluntarily assumes all risks involved with travel to the Middle East, whether expected or unexpected. The participant is hereby warned of such risks. In view of statutory or contractual limitation that may apply to personal injury or property losses, the purchase of personal or baggage insurance is strongly recommended (see “Insurance” on this page). Such insurance is the sole responsibility of the tour participant. CJF Ministries shall not be liable for any loss or damage to person or baggage caused by suppliers. Your retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above. By forwarding deposit, the participant certifies that he/she does not have any mental, physical, or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other participants. CJF Ministries reserves the right to decline to accept or to decline to retain any person as a member of any tour should such person’s health, actions, or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the right or welfare or enjoyment of other participants. CJF Ministries reserves the right to cancel or change itineraries, or to substitute services without notice.
Selecting “I agree” constitutes an agreement by the participant to abide by the above terms, conditions, and requirements.
